  To celebrate 100 years of the Morgan Motor Company a national event is planned in October 2009 for all owners and enthusiasts of the Morgan sports car. The MORGAN CENTENARY TOUR - INVERELL 2009 will be held over 4 days in October. Registration will be held at the Inverell Visitors Centre from 10am to 3pm on Friday the 9th October with the event finishing with a BBQ breakfast at the Inverell Transport Museum on Monday the 12th October.   A Free Day of Heritage Vehicles arranged to their best advantage, including sports and sedan cars, bikes, military vehicles and historic racing cars in Banjo Paterson Park, Meehan Street Yass 8 piece band from Sydney 'Hip Replacement' (with Rockpile Jones & Paul McCann of 'Ol 55 fame) playing live throughout the day. A market arrangement of Heritage displays, stalls and food stands throughout the park. A pleasant day where heritage enthusiasts come together.
