The event will once again provide a wonderful spectacle of immaculately prepared vehicles, both current and classic and with our theme this year “The Measure of Safety”, there will also be static displays by Careflight (our nominated charity for the event), NSW Police and Roads & Traffic Authority. China Classic Car Rally 2010 |

China is the fastest growing economy in the world. But, at the same time, China has no Classic car culture. The China Classic Car Rally, to be held from 16th September to 16 October 2010 will comprise approximately of 160 cars and 300 owners which will help to introduce Classic car culture to the people of China.
All classic car owners and enthusiasts are invited to join the rally for an unbelievable and unprecedented event.
This event is proudly supported by National Tourism Administration Of The People's Republic Of China and has full Chinese Government endorsement.
The event incorporates the 12th Beijing International Tourism Festival's Opening Ceremony.
The rally travels through 7 provinces and 2 municipalities (cities) of Chinese hinterland, covering 8,800 kilometers over 30 days.
During this Parade you will visit some beautiful places in China and experience the history, the culture and customs of more than 30 minorities.
You will also be invited to take part in many events, such as Chinese Classical Music Concerts, Folk Culture and traditional Chinese painting.
The rally will reach 300-400 million people across China, which will help spread the classic car culture to the people of China.

Old Bar Classic, Specialty Car Show |

The Old Bar Classic, Specialty Car Show is part of the Old Bar Beach Festival and will be held on Saturday 2nd October, where Street Machines, Classics, Low riders, Vintage, Veteran, Aust. & American Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, Custom & Veteran Bikes, 4WD’s, Utes and cars gather for a Show & Shine.
All entrants receive a welcome pack.
Trophies are awarded for each category as well as a perpetual trophy to be handed out to the winner of the people’s choice award.
This is an ongoing award with each winner's name and car’s details engraved and handed on each year with a small trophy also given to the winner of this award.
Other prize categories will be the Oldest Car Present, Most Unique/Custom, Judges Choice, 4WD, Utes and Honourable mentions from the Judges panel.
Car enthusiasts from all over are invited to come along.

$100 million worth of luxury classic, new and concept cars and motorcycles will converge on Manly’s St Patrick’s Estate as part of the first Concours d’Elegance Australia on Sunday 10th October, 2010 (10-10-10), commencing at 10am till 5pm.
For the first time Concours d’Elegance Australia will host the internationally acclaimed event, where cars and motorcycles will be vying for the ultimate status of “Best of Show”. Judges include, former racing driver, Derek Bell MBE.
Concours d’Elegance Australia is as much about style, fashion and elegance as it is a celebration of the enjoyment of amazing and exotic automobiles and motorcycles.

CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE AUSTRALIA |

Concours d'Elegance is derived from the French meaning "a Competition of Elegance" dating back to the 17th Century. This is the first time that an event of this nature will be held in Australia.
This event will showcase approximately 200 of the finest examples of the classic and prestige Vehicles, with 50 of these vehicles competing for "Best of the Show" within their Classes in the Councours d'Elegance.
A truly unique collection of vehicles with an estimated value in excess of $100 million will be on display for the public viewing.
The owners of the best unique and classic automobiles and motorcycles from around Australia are invited to submit an application for the Concours or Display entry.
Manufacturers and collectors will be invited to display their newest models and most valued possessions to the public.
Our Spectacular venue at St Patrick's, overlooking the world famous Manly Beach, will be the perfect backdrop for fine food, wine, fashion and elegant cars.

Free admission to a Day of Heritage Vehicles displayed to their best advantage in the lovely Banjo Paterson Park, off Meehan Street in central Yass. Vehicles include sports and sedan cars, bikes, military vehicles and historic racing cars.
Eight piece band from Sydney 'The Hips' (with Rockpile Jones & Paul McCann of 'Ol 55 fame) playing your favorite 50’s 60’s and 70’s music live throughout the day.
A market arrangement of Heritage displays, stalls and food stands throughout the park. A pleasant day where heritage enthusiasts come together.
Heritage vehicles 30 years and older are welcome to be included in the display.
Vehicle Entry Forms available on request, early entries receive free morning tea.
This event is run in conjunction with the Yass Rotary Billy Cart Race and the Yassarts Art Trail.

CLASSIC YASS
Day One - 6th November 2010
The ‘Yass Celebration of Heritage Motoring’ will feature an extensive static display of motor vehicles through the decades, with drivers and passengers in period costume where possible. We hope those participating in the display, will accept an invitation to picnic in style beside their cars throughout the day or partake in the heritage food stands and traditional morning and afternoon teas.
Heritage displays, market stands, food, wine and other activities are being organised for the day This family day in the in the lovely Banjo Paterson Park, Yass, will be free to all drivers, passengers and onlookers.
The ‘Celebration of Heritige Motoring’ will be run in conjunction with Yassarts Art Trail and a prosed Rotary Billy C-Art Race.
This event can be enjoyed over one or two days with lock up storage available for vehicles over night if needed. The main event on Saturday 6th November 2010 includes the Car Display in Banjo Paterson Park and will be followed by a fun filled Evening of Rock and Roll. A 60’s theme night of music, fashion and fun, period costume is encouraged! The profits from the evening will be donated to local charity and entry will be $10

Yassarts Art Trail/Open Studios and Red Cross Open Gardens.
Vintage Vehicles are invited to join the Yass Antique Motor Club travel to Blackburn Open Garden for a Sunday Run and lunch.

Following a highly successful debut in 2009, the Lakeside Classic Speed Fest makes its return on to Queensland’s legendary Lakeside Park circuit on August 7 & 8, bringing with it a flotilla of iconic touring cars.
The cars that won the hearts of a generation, the mighty touring cars of the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s, will once again grace Queensland’s spiritual home of motorsport with a bevy of history-packed vehicles firing into action for the 2010 Lakeside Classic Speed Fest.
Held over two action-packed days, the Lakeside Classic Speed Fest is a multi category event featuring racing, sprints, regularity, a mini hill climb and the Shannons Show and Shine.
The picturesque Lakeside Park circuit on Brisbane’s outskirts welcomes back cars from the renowned Group C and Group A category, that made up the heyday of the Australian Touring Car Championship, as the feature group of this incredible line up.
Touring car veterans Jim Richards and Mark Gibbs will step back in time when they drive demonstration laps in their original Nissan R32 Skylines. Decked out in their period livery with Winfield and GIO signage, these Japanese motor racing icons will bring back memories of a time when they turned the Australian Touring Car Championship on its ear with their fire-breathing turbo-charged sixes and all wheel drive handling.
Many Queensland motor-racing fans will remember round four of the Australian Touring Car Championship at Lakeside in April 1991, when Richards planted the Skyline on poll and went on to blitz the field. Richards and teammate Mark Skaife crossed the line for a one/two finish, with Richards lapping the entire field up to fifth position!
The two mighty “Godzillas” will also be driven by their current owners in the Group A & C touring car race category at the Lakeside Classic Speed Fest, giving fans a chance to see the infamous machines in all their glory once again.
Other touring car classes to take you back in time include Group N and the ever-popular Australian Trans Am Championship. Group N will see titanic tussles between Aussie legends such as Falcon GTs, XU1 Toranas, Ford Escorts and Holden Monaros, while the Trans Am series unleashes the fattest group of American muscle this side of Detroit.
The Lakeside Classic Speed Fest also features trade stalls, the Shannons Super Rig and the Queensland Motorsport Museum. With entry at just $20 per day and free entry for kids under thirteen the Lakeside Classic Speed Fest is one family event not to be missed! |

Car Show- Gates open at 9am, Judging commences at 10am sharp, Presentation at 2pm, Competitor entry fee $10, Trophies awarded for 12 categories including Car of the Show, Best Club Display, Best Vintage, V8, 6 cylinder, 4 cylinder rotary, original, engine bay, paint, interior, Ute and character Ute. Food, Licensed Bar, Entertainment and Raffles during the day. Public entry fee- Gold Coin.
Goombungee Little Folks Group is a not for profit organisation providing a kindergarten for the children of our rural area, all funds raised from the event will benefit the children who attend our centre.

42nd annual QLD Hot Rod & Street Machine Spectacular. New dates and new venue. The longest running indoor motor show in QLD will noe be held at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhubition Centre. This is the Australian Street Rod federations State Title Show with over 120 of the besat Hot Rods and Street Machines competing to see who will be the top Street Rod and Street Machine. This show will also be the first qualifying round for the Meguirs 2011 Superstars series. There will be trade stalls, hot rod building seminars, international pinstrippers and much more. |

Organised by the Little Desert Rodders Club the 2-day Swap Meet is to be staged at the Dimboola Showgrounds large park complex located on the banks of the Wimmera River with excellent facilities, beautiful shady gum trees and grassed areas, all within walking distance of the town centre.
A Show N Shine is planned for Saturday only, with Hot Rod, Classics, Rat Rods, Street Machines as well as motorbikes catered for.
Clean out the shed and bring along everything from hot rod parts to antiques, collectables, bike parts and more.
Swap sites are 9 m x 6 m $15 (covers both days) camping for sellers permited.
